Found at the excavation crash site where Col. Richard Kenneth Allee's remains and other items were found, family member James MacAlla noted that "Dick's' dog tag had been silverplated at Port's silverplate factory when he was home visiting Port Jervis, and credits that silverplating for perhaps preserving the dog tag so well at the crash site.
