Anyone who took time to visit Port Jervis' oldest structure -- historic Fort Decker -- this weekend had a chance to enjoy a glimpse of Colonial life in our nation.
Navasing Long Rifle historians joined the historians of Minisink Valley Historical Society and Fort Decker to share knowledge, a campfire, and a chance for visiting members of the public to view and learn more about Colonial garb, guns, supplies, skills, and lifestyle.
In addition to this Colonial-themed event, there were multiple other events in Port Jervis on Saturday. See separate Port Jervis Newsroom posts for Port's Halloween Parade, Trunk or Treat in Riverside Park, games in Orange Square, and Downtown Spooktacular.
