Port Jervis Humane Society Woofsburg Benefit a success

HUGUENOT, NY -- For those who were unable to attend this past Sunday's special Woofsburg event on the grounds of the Port Jervis Humane Society, it's never too late to contribute toward the care provided by this organization and its staff and volunteers.

The efforts of caring for so many homeless animals is costly, but so needed. This why the the annual Woofsburg meetup event is held to help.

Organizers noted an increase in participants in this year's VW and Audi car gathering, which brought dozens of different makes, models and vintage year vehicles and their owners to share a day in support. The entry fee per vehicle was only $20, and was supplemented with a raffle as part of the event.

Besides the ultimate goal of helping to support animals in need of care, there was a chance for everyone to enjoy visiting the owners of the vintage vehicles on display and take home some special prizes besides. The event was a huge success, but there is always a need for additional support.
