It is time to exercise your right to vote. There are gubernatorial primaries for both the Democratic and Republican parties. Democrats that are on the ballot for a chance to run for Governor are: Kathy Hochul, current Governor, Tom Suozzi, Long Island Representative, and Jumaane Williams, former NYC Public Advocate. Democrats that are on the ballot to run for Lieutenant Governor are: Diana Reyna, Ana Maria Archila and Antonio Delgado.
On the Republican ballot running for the position of Governor are : Lee Zeldin, a Long Island Congressman, Andrew Giuliani, son of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and businessman Harry Wilson. Also on the ballot for the Republicans in Orange County are two candidate running for County Sheriff: Paul Arteta, currently Montgomery Village Deputy Police Chief and Kenneth T. Jones, currently an Under Sheriff in Orange County.
Primary day is June 28th but early voting started on June 18th. Check the schedule below for times and places to vote.
