A wonderful trio, the Ensemble Aubade, based in West Sommerville, Massachusetts, appeared Saturday afternoon, May 20, in the Community Room at the Port Jervis Free Library with their program "Mozart and More", introduced by library director Evelyn Rogers.

Featured was Mozart's Trio in E-flat Major, K.498, Kegelstatt" (1786), expertly performed by trio members Peter Bloom on alto flute, Francis Grimes on viola and Steven Sussmann on the library's console piano which once belonged to the late beloved local pianist Albert Pflanz.

Following was the Concertina for Flute, Viola and Piano (1950) by Ernest Bloch and Trio Opus 45 (1856) by Louise Farrenc. The final offering was Seven Postcards to Old Friends (1966), a tribute to the great composers of Broadway by Robert Russell Bennett.
