Port Jervis Fireman's Day Parade always a huge hit!

Writer: Sharon E. SiegelSharon E. Siegel

It was a perfect day for a parade, as the crowds were heard to say throughout Saturday afternoon's historic Port Jervis Fire Department's Annual Inspection Day Parade. The parade made its way from Sussex Street, near City Hall, through the downtown neighborhoods, business district, and up Pike Street to East Main's reviewing stand, where it disbanded just past the stand where department and city officials saluted and applauded participants.

Four Grand Marshals, 25-year member and Past Chief Dominic Cicalese along with three 50-plus year members of this year's lead company Neversink Eng. Co. No. 1, James Rohner, David Moore, and Bob Mills, led PJFD's 2022 parade.

Following are photos of some of the parade participants.

Thank you, everyone, for not only protecting our communities year-after-year, but for delighting us once again on PJFD's outstanding annual Parade Day!
