Port Jervis Middle School Drama Club presents Disney's Broadway Musical, NEWSIES!

PORT JERVIS, NY -- It may not have been Broadway, but Port Jervis Middle School Drama Club's Newsie's Opening Night on the Port Jervis High School stage on May 9, 2025, was fantastic!

It's always incredible to realize the amount of pure skill and dedication these young students have, and the time so many adults put into teaching and allowing those involved this valuable chance to shine in local musical theatre at its best.

If you were not able to attend the May 9, 2025 opening night performance, don't worry -- you have two more chances to see this great show today -- May 10, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Here are some photos of the large cast of PJMS Newsies! I also learned from one of the hardworking adults that helped put this show together, that some of the costumes and accessories are actually from Broadway shows, and the carts were borrowed from the Broadway set of Fiddler on the Roof.
