Updated: Nov 10, 2021

PORT JERVIS – VFW Post #161 and Tri-State Naval Ship Post #7241 will host the annual Port Jervis Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony this Thursday, November 11, 2021. The parade lineup will be at 9:30 a.m. at Port Jervis Middle School, and will step off at 10:30 a.m.

The route will follow East Main Street from PJMS, left onto Pike Street, and conclude at Veteran’s Park/Orange Square. Remarks will be made, Color Guard will line the park, musical patriotic tunes will be provided, and veterans honored for their service, as they have been decade after decade from the city’s historic square.

All are invited and encouraged to attend and show their gratitude and respect for America’s veterans, each of whom has served their nation.

We will be posting two blogs sharing portions of stories of two local veterans. We thank these two veterans and all of our nation’s military men and women for their service.
